How it works
SHUTE Sensing Solutions’ sensors are light weight, anti corrosive, flexible and durable, which makes them extremely suitable for wind turbine purposes. Both for monitoring strain in the wings and measuring stress in wind turbine concrete foundations. Newest application is a non-electric vibration sensor, which will be ideal for many structural health monitoring purposes especially in limited or hard-to-reach places; or where the environment needs to be free from electricity. Monitoring humidity
SHUTE humidity sensors monitor between 0.2-100% RH and even survives being dipped into water. We produce mPOF Humidity Sensors for the 8-850nm range and the 1550nm range. Especially the fact that a new humidity sensor now is available for C-band interrogators could be of interest to our colleagues, as it can be used in combination with their own strain and temperature FBG sensors. We now also offer an all metal-free PEEK housing, which we have tested together with representatives from international top-tier companies, using the LUNA Inc.
