Bjørn Andersen starts as new CEO at SHUTE Sensing Solutions Aps

Bjørn Andersen, a successful high tech entrepreneur and a powerful salesman from electronics business industry, steps in as a CEO and an investor at SHUTE Sensing Solutions ApS.



In 1997 Bjørn founded Noliac A/S, a hardware company developing and marketing piezoelectric sensors, actuators and transducers. Over the next years he grew the company in size, product range and international sales. 20 years later he exited Noliac to CTS Corp., a NYSE listed American electronics company. Following the acquisition Bjørn established his own technology fund, Øster Land Invest ApS.




1st February Bjørn Andersen joined SHUTE Sensing Solution ApS as CEO with responsibilities for management and sales. He expects to build upon numerous pilot projects within construction, energy, biomedical industries to develop scalable and repetitive sales, as well as to bring polymer optical fiber sensing to the areas, which he has strong expertise and network within, e.g defence and aerospace. ‘I consider SHUTE’s technology as an exciting platform with numerous opportunities to transform and enhance multiple businesses. Test at construction site

We have successfully installed the first sensor inside a concrete floor together with a large Danish contractor. It is the first test in a real environment and will document the humidity levels throughout the curing phase.

Today we have successfully installed our first complete sensor system.

We are currently monitoring humidity levels inside wind barrier protection (MgO based) plates for a Danish construction company.
